FAQ
Yes. Build Sprint #1 is free. Confirmed seats also get the participant toolkit (about €104 of included access: ShipSafe + one month of ShipStreak). What it costs is commitment, daily check-ins, and shipping with the required badges.
Day 0 is Sunday, 2 Aug 2026 (setup, required). Build Mon 3 Aug–Sat 8 Aug. Demo Day is Sunday, 9 Aug 2026. All dates Europe/Dublin. Status chips show the build week 3 Aug → 9 Aug 2026.
Sprint calendar dates use Europe/Dublin. ShipStreak check-ins are once by the end of your local calendar day (plus the usual ShipStreak grace). You do not need to be awake at Dublin noon for prompts.
ShipStreak is required for daily check-ins. Greenfield projects use ShipSafe with the Built with ShipSafe badge. Existing WIP: use ShipSafe with the badge, or keep your stack and add the Built During KLJr Sprint watermark. Details on the rules page.

Plan for about 2-3 hours. Async-first, with check-ins, one mid-week office hour, and Demo Day.
Miss Day 0 (Sun 2 Aug) and the seat is released. Check-ins run on ShipStreak: one grace day if you miss an update there; miss two and you're out. For Build Sprint itself there is no pausing. Seven days is short. Ship every day.
You get an automatic confirmation email straight away. I review requests myself. Closer to Day 0 (Sun 2 Aug) I send the onboarding email with Discord access, the Day 0 checklist, and the toolkit.
Occasional notes from me on shipping in public, Build Sprint seats when they open, and what I am building. Low volume. Separate from a seat request, though you can join both.
Demo Day is for the group. With your consent, demos may be recorded and showcased.
